Actually, looks a bit more straight up futuristic than cyberpunk-ish.
Still though, I like the detail and overall design. Seems functional, like somethig cops might actually wear thirty years from now, while a lot of designers I see elsewhere go stupid with sci-fi concepts.
Like "Hey, if we attach two 50. caliber guns to his head and a jet pack to his ass, that should work, right?" Wrong.
So, like I said, I like the moderation in your dude. Looks heavy, but not cumbersome. More of a Can-theoretically-resist-a-shotgun-blast feel to it, IMO, than a O-hai-Iz-in-ur-war-deflecting-ur-missiles.
Mix all right. It has military background written all over it. This means there is no more peacekeepers, When they come to work, it means PeaceMakers. With deadly force authorization, made inb advance. How about weaponry. And no police stick, unlse it is a medival mace style.
Little bulky for my PERSONAL opinion of cyberpunk, but i can totally see riot cop or sildier, whaen bulkyness is needed. It clearly isn't punk-emphasized cyberpunk, but is totally Neil Stephenson cyberpunk.
Last note, its about time somebody put a collar on heavy armor! The neck is ALWAYS the weak point, even for SPEES MAREENS
Looks cool so far, a light/camera setup on the side of the helmet would be cool. While I don't think it's too Halo-ish (plenty of similar helmets out there pre-Halo) may want to give it a more round appearance.
No offence but it looks to similar to something from Halo. It IMO looks like a cross-over of an ODST and Master Cheif - especially the helmet and his chest armor with the small bag-like-pockets (whatever they're called).
